The Ecological Field Studies (EFS) Program is a collaborative effort of Creek Farm and Ecosystem. Working together they have created effective environmental educational materials, delivered programs for teachers and students and maintain an international network of educators interested in teaching about nature. We now have available a series of 40 seasonal ecological field studies complete with video, teachers manuals and student worksheets. These field study activities focus on a wide variety of physical and biological aspects of nature, emphasize the development of science process skills and promote positive attitudes and values towards science and the environment. During typical fall, winter and summer university semesters we offer 3 credit, on-line, graduate education courses emphasizing ecological field studies.
